For the first time in CSP’s 29 year history we are now proud to offer NO WAITING for fully psychologically and medically screened surrogate mothers with insurance in place!
How did we achieve this? For the last year CSP has heavily invested in advertising for surrogate mothers and in restructuring our surrogate mother screening process. This investment has paid off for our couples. We can now process surrogate mothers through our program in a more efficient way. The response to our new structure has been overwhelmingly positive from these lovely ladies. In anticipation of a larger volume of surrogate mothers applying to our program, CSP put aside funds to complete the medical and psychological screening. We were ready to process each application so that today we could reach our goal of having no waiting period for prescreened surrogate mothers.
Another bonus to our couples is the high number of experienced surrogates returning to our program – more than ever before. Each CSP surrogate mother works closely with a trained professional psychotherapist or psychologist with years of experience in this field so she has a highly skilled and educated counselor guiding her and her family through the process. We do not have prior surrogate mothers as “case workers.” Of course we do have prior surrogate mothers who work closely with us as support for those new to the program. In addition, every couple has a counselor to guide and coach them through this journey. Once a surrogate mother has completed her first journey and delivered a baby for a couple, she knows she can walk into any agency and be accepted immediately into their program or she can go online and will receive hundreds of solicitations from couples in desperate need of help. Yet these surrogate mothers return to work with CSP and only CSP.

Medical insurance – means medical insurance to cover the pregnancy and birth. We ensure that all our surrogate mothers have medical insurance prior to matching them with a couple:
1. Some policies exclude surrogate pregnancies.
2. Some policies have “liens” against any compensation a surrogate mother receives.
3. Some polices will cover surrogate pregnancies.
4. Some policies have a 3-12 month waiting period before maternity benefits will be paid. In such cases
CSP will have our surrogate mothers purchase a policy in advance to being matched so that once they are matched they are ready to begin.
